Underwater Salvage of the USS S-51

The USS-S51 sank on September 25, 1925 near Block Island which is located off the coast of Rhode Island. The USS-S51 was an S-class submarine built by the Lake Torpedo Boat Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The submarine operated with approximately 40 crew members. When she sank, there were only 3 survivors who would live to tell the tale of that fateful night.
